Porsche 911 Carrera S Powerkit offers 424 bhp

Porsche is offering a Powerkit for the Carrera S with 424bhp and an Aerokit Cup bodykit for the faux GT3 look. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera has only been with us for five minutes but already Porsche are offering more power and some add-on aero bits for a bit of a faux GT3 experience for new 911 owners. On the power front, Porsche Exclusive is offering a Powerkit for the 911 Carrera S which ups its power to 430hp (424bhp) from the regular 400hp.

The images, which come directly from a source inside the factory, show that the kind of original thinking that has made the Norfolk-based sportscar marque such a legend on the four wheels could equally turn it into a two-wheeled force to be reckoned with. VW Passat Alltrack 4motion (2012) goes on sale

Volkswagen is launching its own cut-price rival to those mud-loving Allroad models from Audi in May 2012 – the new Passat Alltrack 4motion. It's a Passat estate in a Barbour and green wellies, its ride height hoiked up and with 4motion all-wheel drive boosting traction for soft-roading and pulling horseboxes over slippery grass. VW quotes a two-tonne towing capacity – 200kg greater than an equivalent Passat estate.
