For auction is a set of pristine condition Original, Factory, Genuine Champion RS97 Monoblock Forged Wheel, Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tire, Porsche Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) and Porsche Silver Color Logo Center Cap for 2007 to 2012 911-997 Turbo and all the other Wide Body 997 Model. This wheel set will also fit the 911-997 Wide Bodies such as the Turbo, Turbo S, C4S, Targa 4S, Carrera 4, GTS, GT3 RS and the GT2 RS. The tire set will be 245/30/20 for the front and 325/25/20 for the Rear. The wheels has a very minimal use life in pristine condition wheel and tire. The good tread level is an indication of the liitle use of the set. The Wheel is a 5 (five) Spoke design with an upper window cut finished in Silver and a machined lip. Clean lines and 1-piece Monoblock forged construction with aircraft-grade aluminum combine maximum strength with extreme light weight that today's performance cars need. The wheels came off on a 2012 911-997 Turbo and was used for only 4503 miles before the wheel set was removed. This wheels and Tires package will fit All Wide Body Porsche from the GT2 RS, GT3 RS, Turbo S, Turbo, C4S, Targa and the C4 from 2005 to 2012. The original owner purchased the wheel and tire set excellent condition as new from Porsche Dealership for over $7200 plus taxes.

Audi R8 e-tron killed off for production – again

It’s more than six months since we reported that Audi were planning to kill off any production plans for the electric R8 e-Tron, with Audi’s head of R&D saying the production plans for the R8 were going to be scrapped. And it seems they have now gone in the bin. Autocar are reporting that Audi has confirmed to them that the R8 e-Tron won’t be going in to production and the ten latest e-Trons to be built will be used just for testing and development to help Audi with its ‘electrification’ plans, which will now almost certainly concentrate on plug-in hybrids and range extenders, rather than EVs.
