Aaron Paul (pictured with The Stig) is tonight’s Top Gear Star ina Reasonably Priced Car We’re now close to the end of the run of normal episodes of Top Gear for series 21 with episode 5 tonight, with just a single episode to go plus the ‘Christmas Special’ before the series is over. But tonight we’ll get the second of the new crop of ultimate supercars being tested with Richard Hammond off to the Yas Marina circuit to play with the Porsche 918 Spyder. Will the Porsche 918 Spyder be more impressive and, more importantly, quicker than the incredible McLaren P1 as Hammond gets to grips with its 4.6 litre 600bhp V8 and 275bhp electric motors?

Alfa Romeo has launched a limited edition MiTo – the MiTo Live – with a Pioneer App radio and Marmalade ‘Black Box’ Insurance aimed at new drivers. So on the engine front the MiTo Live gets Alfa’s 875cc two-cylinder turbo – a crackingly good little engine – which delivers up a modest, but fun, 85bhp with emissions of 98g/km and the promise of 67.3mpg if you drive like a saint. Pirelli unveils 2012 edition of 'artistic' calendar

Tiremaker Pirelli has previewed the 2012 edition of its calendar, known for its regular use of unclothed models in artistic poses and the exclusivity of the list of recipients. Photographer Mario Sorrenti chose the island of Corsica as the location to capture his "swoon" images. This is the first time that Sorrenti has shot the calendar, which has used many famous photographers in the past including Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon and Bruce Weber.
