The new Mazda 3 is the third car from the Japanese manufacturer’s ‘Skyactiv’ line-up, joining the CX5 crossover and the 6 saloon and estate. Ford moves upmarket with new Mustang, Edge and Vignale sub-brands

Ford Britain's biggest carmaker is fighting back against increased competition from budget brands from below and executive makes from above with an aggressive expansion, which will see it launch three new models by the end of 2015. Ford is about to introduce models popular in the US over here to stretch its product line-up above the £30,000 threshold. At last week's Geneva Motor Show, the company showed the new Mustang sports car as well as the new Edge crossover (above).

Scion dealers say tiny iQ is coming in 2010

Looking to bring zip to the brand, Scion will add the iQ small car in the fall of 2010. Jack Hollis, vice president of the division, would say only that he's fighting for the car, which is slightly longer than the 105-inch Smart. But dealers say they have been told it's a done deal.
