German enthusiasts name TechArt GrandGT the 'Sports Car of the Year'
Wed, 30 Nov 2011For the fourth year in a row, readers of German car magazine Auto Bild have selected the TechArt GrandGT as "Sports Car of the Year" in the sedan-tuning category. The GrandGT, from TechArt Automobilidesign GmbH, is based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo and packs 630 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The additional power comes from upgraded turbochargers, sport air filters and a tuned engine-management system.
Interior Motives announces shortlist for Student Design Awards 2009

Handed down by a ten-strong panel of industry experts, the shortlist will be further reviewed before three finalists and a winner for each of the eight categories - and the overall competition winner - is ultimately selected and awarded on the eve of the second press day of the Frankfurt auto show. Porsche details plan for new headquarters, test track next to Atlanta airport
Thu, 12 May 2011Porsche Cars North America will spend between $80 million and $100 million to build a new headquarters and test-track complex next to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport, the automaker said on Thursday. The site in Hapevlle, Ga., is where the Ford Motor Co. assembly plant that built the Ford Taurus and the Mercury Sable used to stand.
