Chassis Engineering 7602 Parachute Pack Mount, Mild Steel, Natural, Each.

 

These Chassis Engineering parachute pack mounts allow you to correctly position your parachute pack. Manufactured from mild steel for extra strength and feature a quick release pin for removal when working on the car. These must be welded and include the pack mounting plate, mounting tube, weld bung, and quick release pin.

The Formula Sun grand prix is a qualifying race for teams interested in racing their solar-powered cars in the American Solar Challenge. Joel Piaskowski becomes Director of Exterior Design at Ford North America

Joel Piaskowski is set to become Ford's North American Director of Exterior Design. He will be filling the position previously vacated by Moray Callum, who was promoted to Executive Director for Ford Americas design when Peter Horbury went back to head up Volvo's design efforts earlier this year. "I'm very much looking forward to working with the team at Ford," Piaskowski told Car Design News.

GETTING help from family, neighbours or friends for basic car maintenance tasks costs the UK public an estimate £300million a year, according to a new survey. Over 2,000 people were surveyed on behalf of Halfords Autocentres and one in six said they regretted asking for help in the first place. 45% who subsequently had to pay a professional to rectify mistakes were left with a bill in excess of £100.
