"I have waited before saying anything about your Chassis Saver product until I had a chance to try both your product and the competition. I am very satisfied with the finish and durability. The restoration I completed 3 years ago looks as if it was done a few months ago. Your product is by far the most durable and provides excellent coverage. Chassis Saver is really awesome paint, it beats the finish of POR-15 hands down." — J.C., Colorado Springs, CO

CHASSIS SAVER™ is a revolutionary one-step, direct-to-rust, truck and auto underbody coating that effectively stops rust by isolating metal from oxygen and moisture. Applied directly over tightly rusted or sandblasted metal surfaces, Chassis Saver cures to a rock hard yet extremely flexible, non-porous coating that resists cracking and chipping caused by rocks and stones. Chassis Saver cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture and its cured film resembles that of a catalyzed finish yet no hardeners or activators are used. Chassis Saver is completely unaffected by road salt, gasoline, diesel fuel, oils, battery acids, hydraulic fluids, solvents, chemicals, or corrosives.

Proven over 15 years in the commercial fleet refinish market, Chassis Saver is now approved by the military for "Vehicle life expectancy extension by reducing severe corrosion". Chassis Saver is also approved by over 375 municipalities, public works departments, townships and state level DOT fleet maintenance facilities for regular maintenance and protection of snow and ice removal equipment, highway, on/off road and general use vehicles.
The Ohio DOT says: “Despite the highly corrosive situation caused by salt and liquid calcium chloride, Chassis Saver has reduced by fifty percent the amount of refinishing we have had to do on our snow and ice removal vehicles”.

“Oh by the way I have bought a gallon of your Chassis Saver before for my race car and I have to say that stuff is awesome. Very high quality product for a very good price. Sure beats POR-15!!!" — L.M., Woretown, New Jersey
"We have used your paints in the past and are very satisfied with the finish and durability. The restorations done 5 or more years ago look as if they were done a few months ago. Your product is very durable and provides excellent coverage." — E.Z. - Farm Owner, Aurora, Ohio
"Chassis Saver is probably the best product I've ever seen when it comes to protecting car and truck frames. We do a lot of diesel truck work. With Chassis Saver, we just pressure wash the frame, spray it on and we're done. It holds up well, it's very flexible, durable, and doesn't chip. Every customer that we do it for ends up very pleased." — K.R., Ottsville, Pennsylvania
"So far, so good. I've been using it four years, and we've done three trucks with Chassis Saver. So far it has been working very, very well. It's holding up very well. It lasts a lot longer than anything else. It seems that they don't lie about what they say. You follow their instructions and you won't have any trouble." — D.D., Manchester, New Hampshire
“We sandblast and repaint every kind of fleet you can imagine. We repaint everything with Magnet Paints and are very pleased with the results and the cost savings. I've got about ten different companies trying to sell me paint, but they can't beat what I'm already getting with Magnet.” — M.R., Halifax, Massachusetts

Additional Product Information
• Minimal surface preparation using a wire brush • Apply directly over tight rust or blasted metal • Apply by brush or any spray equipment • Mechanically bonds to rough surfaces • Isolates metal from oxygen & moisture • Won’t crack, chip, flake or peel • Unaffected by road salts, gasoline, diesel fuel, acids, corrosives, solvents or chemicals
Application Note: While Chassis Saver has incredible rust and corrosion resistance and can be used for all underbody applications without top coating, it is sensitive to UV light (sun) and its initial appearance will change over time. Its “RUST STOPPING” properties and corrosion resistance will never degrade but its color will shift from black to charcoal gray. Silver-aluminum remains very close to its original appearance. If aesthetics are important, Chassis Saver can and should be top coated with a quality industrial or automotive finish. Any opaque finish is effective. Clear coating is not recommended as protection. Suitable topcoats include any MAGNET Finishing System including 4800 Series Synthetic Urethane Enamels, MAGNACRYL™ 9000 Series Acrylic Enamels or MAGNATRON™ 5000 Series Acrylic Polyurethane Enamels. Explanation of Photos
1) Product Photo - CHASSIS SAVER™ is packaged in quarts, gallons and ½ Pints (8 ounce) and comes in 3 finishes (Gloss Black, Antique-Satin Black and Silver-Aluminum)
2) Completed Chassis - This photo was sent in by a very happy customer who had bought some CHASSIS SAVER™ at a local antique car show. He had never painted before and these photos show the results he achieved with a backyard sandblasting and $49 spray gun. Pretty impressive!
3) Ford 9" Rear - This 9" rear had a very tight layer of rust. The surface was wire brushed and a first coat of CHASSIS SAVER™ aluminum was brushed on and allowed to dry for 4 hours. Two coats of gloss black were then brushed on with 3 to 4 hours between coats. Rust will never see this metal again!
4) Utility Trailer - This small utility trailer sat outside in a commercial electrical contractor's yard for close to 10 years. Encrusted with a tight to medium layer of rust scale, they wire brushed and hand scraped all loose material and then brushed 2 coats of Aluminum CHASSIS SAVER™. After about 18 hours, 2 coats of MAGNET 4800 Series Synthetic Urethane Enamel (with UEH100 Urethane Hardener) was brushed over the nice tight aluminum finish. Topcoat Color: Massey Ferguson/Safety Red
5) Rusty Air Conditioner Sleeve - This air conditioner in a beach-front location was removed from its sleeve only to find extensive rust damage that had all but disintegrated the housing of the AC unit. But worse yet, water had sat under the unit for so long that the sheet metal sleeve had corroded all the way through. As the rust was being scraped from the sleeve, the spot you see with the red circle fell apart and exposed a 220 volt electrical wire. On a Sunday afternoon without proper repair materials, a fast decision had to be made because a major storm was scheduled to arrive in less than 24 hours. A piece of 16oz painter’s drop cloth was cut with a 3" overlap of the hole. CHASSIS SAVER™ #934 Aluminum was brushed onto the metal surrounding the hole and the entire inside of the sleeve. This was allowed to set for about 2-1/2 hours. A second coat was then brushed on a bit heavy, and the drop cloth patch was laid over the hole into the wet CHASSIS SAVER™. The patch was then forced down with a 4" taping knife so the wet coating started to soak up into the cloth. A very light coat of Aluminum was then brushed very carefully over the patch making sure not to move it. Another 3 hours was allowed to pass and a nice medium coat of CHASSIS SAVER™ was brushed over the still soft patch. The following morning, a final wet coat of CHASSIS SAVER™ was brushed over the patch and the entire inside of the sleeve. The new air conditioner was slid into the sleeve 6 hours later and sealed with expanding spray foam. The storm hit hard 3 hours later.
