The Lexus LF-A has gone on sale in the Lexus dealership in Park Lane You may be surprised to learn that the Lexus LF-A is actually for sale if you were one of the first to read our report last week that you could only lease the LF-A. Lexus were very quick to contact us after we published the report (all of ten minutes) to say that it was just potential LF-A buyers in the US who would be constrained to a lease-only deal and that the LF-A was up for grabs in the normal way everywhere else in the world.

The Lotus Exige S V6 with the 3.5 litre Supercharged engine from the Evora S has started rolling off the production line at Hethel. How nice to be able to report a new car arriving from Lotus instead of more doom and gloom. The Lotus Exige S V6, with the supercharged 3.5 litre engine we first saw in the Evora S, has started to roll off the production line (actually, ‘production line’ me be a bit of an exaggeration) and is heading off to its new owner.

BMW Alpina B7 gets power boost for 2013

The 2013 BMW Alpina B7, the performance version of the German automaker's 7-series sedan, gets an additional 40 hp--and a more costly sticker price--for the new model year. BMW plans to roll out the 2013 model at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August and begin sales soon thereafter. Under the hood, power from the 4.4-liter V8 has been increased from 500 to 540 hp with the addition of BMW's throttle-less Valvetronic intake system.
