Porsche Panamera Junior (Porsche Pajun) still on the cards

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Porsche Panamera Junior (Porsche Pajun) still on the cards The idea that Porsche would build a saloon to sit below the Panamera have been on the cards almost as long as the Panamera has been with us. Back in early 2011 we reported that a Porsche Pajun was being planned for 2016 and in 2012 a Porsche source confirmed that a baby Panamera was under development with plans to get it to the market in 2015. Now, Porsche boss Matthias Muller has all but confirmed to Autocar that the ‘Pajun’ is under serious consideration, although the logistics of building a ‘volume’ model like the Pajun is a tough logistical ask as Porsche has just gone through that exercise to produce the Porsche Macan.

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has reached fever pitch - your Facebook feed is probably as inundated as the ice-cold victims - but allow us to serve up a selection of the best drenchings from the world of Formula 1. We’ve gathered together some of the best Ice Bucket Challenges from the pitlane, featuring such luminaries as Lewis Hamilton, the Red Bull team and even the BBC F1 commentary squad. It makes for pretty compelling viewing: and if anyone can afford to be generous with their donations it’s the mega-money world of top-flight motorsport.

Mini John Cooper Works concept (2014) first official pictures

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 17 December 2013 16:00 This is the Mini John Cooper Works concept, which previews the look of the hottest version of the new third-gen Mini. The new JCW takes the larger, third-gen Mini three-door, which was revealed at Oxford last month, and gives it a triple nostrilled front bumper, red bodywork accents and myriad (doubtless superficial) vents for a racier look than its predecessor. New intakes also usurp the previous car’s front foglights, and 18in five-spoke alloys ape the look of the outgoing Mini GP flagship.
