Up for Auction is what I was told was a NOS / New Old Stock Chevrolet Passenger Car Right Side / Passenger's Side Front hood half - of what I believe is a two piece hood car or truck. Your are bidding on only the hood half shown in the pics - that's all I have, the one half of the hood. Picked this up at an auction recently - owner told me as I was loading this up that he had bought this and the Fender that I also have listed out of a Chevy Dealership that was closing - this was a NOS Chevy Hood (sorry, fender has been sold). This could be around 60 to 70 years old - I was told this was new. I think the part number on the back side of this hood shows to be a 1942 thru 1948 part, but I may be wrong - please take a look & you decide. It does look like it either got wet and dried or was wet from condensation - has some surface rust in some areas. I don't see or find any rust thru, just surface scale, some areas worse than others, but this is a nice original hood half. Stored inside for many years, very clean - I was told this is still in the GM black primer that was used at that time for body panels. No dents noticed on the panel surface, may have a slight bend or ding on the edges, but still very nice and original. Please look at the pics, still very nice for how old this sheet metal probably is. May also fit or be used on other years or models - I don't know. Maybe someone can use this on their car or project.

SHIPPING NOTE: I would rather not ship this item but I will if you can not pick-up (lower 48 States ONLY). I have not had a chance to pull this item out of the back of my storage unit to measure and weigh this item, so I can not give you an idea of what the shipping would be at this time. This item is fairly large and heavy, item would need to ship via truck freight or maybe Greyhound (I think it may be too large and/or heavy to ship UPS or Fed-Ex Ground). Note, if this item can ship Greyhound, you would need to pick it up locally at your nearest Greyhound Bus Depot. If you do require that I ship this item for you, you will pay for the item, the shipping & packing materials and an hour or two of my time to prepare the hood to ship. If you can't pick-up this item then please be prepared to pay the packing & shipping charges. The item sale price and these fees will need to be paid in-full before this item would ship - no exceptions.

Thanks for Looking.

Pictures tell the story - if you have questions, please ask before you bid. This is up for auction at "NO RESERVE", low starting price. If you are the high bidder, you own it. What you see is what you get - sold "as is". No refunds. Please only bid if you are serious. I don't want to discuss what you dis-like about my listing or terms after you are the high bidder. I will leave the earned feedback for anyone that does not follow thru with the purchase. If you bid, plan to buy. If you have no feedback or prior "issues", please e-mail me before you bid. If you don't e-mail first with some kind of explanation for your feedback "situation(s)", I have the option to cancel your bid & block you from bidding. High bidder is expected to pay in full within 3 days of my total notification - no exceptions, no excuses. High bidder will pay bid price and arrange for Pick-up within 30 days. If you don't pick-up within 30 days, I will retake possession of this fender and resell and you will forefit your payment. Shipping via freight or maybe Greyhound - if you ask first and I have enough time to get you a quote - or - arrange your own shipping. If this is to be shipped, you will pay the shipping cost and a packaging fee (and insurance coverage - if you want it). Might also be used on 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942,  1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948,  1949, Chevy, Chevrolet, Pontiac, GM, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Hard Top, Convertible, Coupe, Two Door, Four Door, Hot Rod, Custom, Rat Rod, Street Vehicle, etc or on your original Chevy, maybe other General Motors Models too - if you are using this type of hood-half.

Morgan Aero Supersports (2009) first pictures

Mon, 27 Apr 2009

By Ben Pulman (photography by Mike Goodbun) First Official Pictures 27 April 2009 10:30 At this weekend’s Villa D'Esta Concorso d'Eleganza, and as part of the company’s centenary celebrations, Morgan unveiled this stunning Aero Supersports. Which is what this car essentially is, as the demand for 100 Aeromax hardtops was just so great that Morgan decided to build another similar model. The Supersports uses the same 4.8-litre V8 as the Aeromax, comes with a wood and leather-covered interior and features a bonded aluminium chassis that is cloaked by superformed aluminium panels.
