For sale is a pair used valve covers. For Corvettes Late 1959-1967 w/ (283, 327) Small Block This pair of valve covers was removed from a 60's Corvette back around 1976, and have sat in storage off the car since. They feature the wire loom tabs on the RH valve cover, in tact. The center of each valve cover features a defined decal box, without the raised triangles on either side (we believe this is a early production trait). Has scuff marks with paint loss and paint peeling away. Has a few dents/dings here and there. Mounting holes are in useable condition.

We do sometimes moan that cars are becoming so clever that it won’t be long before the driver’s just the blobby thing behind the wheel to keep an eye open as clever technology does its stuff. That said, modern technology is certainly doing wonders for tasks that many find irksome and difficult behind the wheel, and Ford are cleverly tapping in to their new technology to demonstrate just how helpful their new cars now are for the stressed driver with the Ford Primary Brand campaign. Ford‘s new Primary Brand campaign is focusing on technology like the new(ish) Active Park Assist that uses sensors to measure parking spaces as you drive by (not too quickly – you have to give it a chance) and then, at the push of a button – with the driver just following instructions for brake, gears and accelerator – neatly parks your new Ford for you.

Porsche is about to become the majority shareholder in Volkswagen. The sportscar maker has been given the green light to purchase further stock in VW, taking its share past the 50 percent mark to give it a controlling interest. As soon as various legal checks have been cleared, Porsche plans to purchase a further 20 percent of VW stock – it already owns 31 percent - at an estimated cost of around £7 billion.

Nearly 10% MORE cars were produced in the UK this September compared to the same time last year, data released today from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has revealed
What’s more, 1,125,433 cars were manufactured in the UK by the end of the month – that’s a 3.9% rise compared to 2012. September new car sales beat forecasts
UK car sales hit four year high in 2012
This means UK car production has returned to pre-recession levels. The rolling 12-month total has now topped 1.5 million vehicles.
