Cowl Plenum air cleaner These were most commonly used on 1967, 1968 and 1969 Z/28 cars before the factory cowl hood was available in 1969. They were also at times present on 1966 and 1967 chevelles. The air cleaner and lid is all metal not fiberglass as offered by some others. They will come with all the pieces you will need to install on your car. They are constructed with attention to detail just as the originals were designed and fabricated. The air cleaner will have the proper factory style indentations for clearance for pcv valve, distributors where needed and the smog pump on a 68 Z/28 application. 625 cars per day found to be insurance write-offs
Wed, 18 Sep 2013ONE IN EVERY 33 vehicles given a history check is found to be an insurance write-off, according to data gathered by HPI. In 2012 one in 33 vehicles checked by HPI was an insurance total loss – otherwise known as a write-off. This equates to 625 cars a day or over 223,000 cars per year being dangerously repaired and sold on to unsuspecting consumers.
Ford confirms Fiesta EcoSport SUV debut in India
Mon, 19 Dec 2011Fiesta EcoSport SUV (rendered by Car & Driver Brazil) Ford has confirmed they will reveal an all-new vehicle planned for introduction in India and other global markets which we assume is the EcoSport SUV. A week or two back we reported that Ford in India has inadvertently posted some details about the upcoming Ford Ecosport, a high-riding compact SUV based on the same platform as the Fiesta. We speculated that the EcoSport would arrive at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi in January, and it looks like Ford has confirmed that.

Both the saloon (liftback) and the Spaceback (hatch) get the same 89bhp 1.6 litre diesel driving the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. Despite differences in dimensions and weight, Skoda are claiming the same 99g/km emissions and 74.3mpg for both saloon and Spaceback, practically perfect if you’re a company car driver.
