1988-1998 Chevrolet/GMC, 1500 Truck/454SS, Pair of Drop Shackles, 2"/3" drop to rear (could be 1" to 2" drop, guess it was that long ago ...) Could fit other applications, know your part identification/application. Manufacturer: Unknown, seemed to be one of the names back in 1990 when I purchased them... Part number: SH-E39 Centerline to centerline of mounting holes is 6-1/2" and 7-1/2", believe these had a adjustment of 1". Urethane Bushings. These shackles remains in unused condition, purchased in 1990 for my 454SS, never installed, have been stored since. If I recall correctly, I ran a bead over one of the welds I didn't care for (guess I should have ran a bead over both so they matched). Then painted in black wrinkle finish. They have been boxed and wrapped in paper towels for over 25 years, some of the paper has stuck to the paint. Sold the truck, now selling the unused, and spares, Check the photos, as this is the part you will receive. Hopefully my honest critique lives up to your expectations on this part. It has seemed for some time that Aston Martin’s wish-list for future engines revolved around Mercedes. They currently use a V12 developed from Ford’s Mondeo V6 and a V8 that’s a development of the 4.2 litre that was in Jaguars (and Range Rovers) until a few years ago, but new engines (and new platforms) are vital if Aston are to remain competitive. Before the recent investment in AML by Investindustrial, there were plans for Aston to use both engines and platforms from Mercedes (the Lagonda SUV was built on the underpinnings of the Mercedes GL) and even the possibility that Aston Martin would design and build the next generation Maybach.

Land Rover has not been one to radically remake the Range Rover with any great haste. The first-generation ute was in production for 26 years, subject only to incremental improvements. The current vehicle, developed during BMW's stewardship of the brand in the 1990s and early aughts, saw a midcycle engine switch from a Munich-bred bent-eight to Jaguar's well-regarded AJ powerplant.

Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine was named the 2013 International Engine of the Year on Wednesday, marking the second consecutive year it has done so. The engine also took home the highest score in the history of the awards, along with a “Best Engine Under 1.0-liters” category. The tiny engine packs a respectable punch for its size, producing 123 hp and 148 lb-ft or torque (Specs may be different pending specific model the engine is in).
