This was removed from a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 series 1/2 ton and I believe it is the same for 1955 1st series as well.. It also might be the same for 1947-1953  but I am far removed from being an expert so please verify your particular application if other than 1954. The entire surface has typical rust but I see no discernable pitting/solid.  Very restorable or good for spare or even just use as is for a driver.  NO RESERVE  It has been in long term storage for many years and recently re-discovered. See my other auctions for more 1954 & 1955 Chevy pickup parts.  I do combine auctions for multiple purchases. Shipping at $15.50 FedEx..

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

We decided the amount of times a gallery of photos of a new car is viewed is probably more indicative than the story itself, so we’ve dug through our stats to see what floated your boat most in 2012.

BMW M5 manual mess-up

Sat, 27 Jan 2007

By Chris chilton Motor Industry 27 January 2007 01:34 North American customers were delighted when BMW bowed to their demands for a full three-pedal manual version of the current V10 M5 super saloon, but aren’t quiet so enamoured with the finished product. The issue is not with the gearbox itself – BMW successfully replaced the European model’s seven-speed SMG box with the old-shape M5’s six-speed manual – but with the compromises that were needed to get there. Without the benefit of computer control for the opening and closing of the clutch plates, M division’s engineers couldn’t eliminate axle tramp under hard take-offs.
