This is a set of  4 2 RH & 2 LH,  3100 1954 & 1955 1st series hood hinges. Feel reasonably tight but hard to really tell w/o being installed but I would not have saved them for spares if they were not any good. Typical surface rust but nothing discernable. Easy detail/paint and install.  I could not find the other halves-the ones with the springs and then after picture was taken and while ad was written, remembered that they are on the hood which is stored in another building. They are included and a picture will be added later.   NO RESERVE  This has been in long term storage for many years and recently re-discovered when gathering up all the spare parts I can find to get ready to sell my rust free '55 1st series 5 window project which I am selling to finish other projects. Just had too many going on at once.  See my other auctions for more 1954 & 1955 Chevy pickup parts and/or inquire.  I do combine auctions for multiple purchases. Shipping at $17.50 USPS Priority

What we didn’t know, and still don’t for sure, is whether the S60 Polestar is a one-off like the C30 Polestar or whether it will become a production model.

Vauxhall ADAM with new 1.0 ECOTEC 3-Cylinder engine will debut at Geneva

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

The Vauxhall ADAM (pictured) gets the new 1.0 litre 3-pot ECOTEC engine At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Vauxhall announced they would be offering the Vauxhall Adam with their new 1.0 litre 3-cylinder ECOTEC engine in 2014, and we now know it will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month before going on sale in the spring. The new 1.0 ECOTEC 3-Cylinder engine is Vauxhall’s answer to Ford’s 1.0 litre EcoBoost proliferating across Ford’s range, and if it’s half as good as Ford’s unit it should make the 3-pot Adam a fun and appealing option. Available in two states of tune – 89bhp or 113bhp – with both delivering 122lb/ft of torque and with a new 6-speed manual ‘box that’s 30 per cent lighter, the new engine delivers 30 per cent more torque than Vauxhall’s 1.6 litre petrol but can manage 62mpg and emissions of 99g/km for the 89bhp version.
