This is a LH (Driver's) 1954 & 1955 1st series lower window glass sash runner. Chevrolet 3100 series. It is NOS GM and never installed-still the GM sticker on it and the GM black paint. There are some age hamdling scratches in the paint but it is as new. Part # 3695555. NO RESERVE This has been in long term storage for many years and recently re-discovered. Telematics discounts tempting young drivers
Wed, 17 Sep 2014INCREASING numbers of young drivers are opting-in to telematics-based car insurance in attempt to reduce their premiums. Specialist young driver insurer Carrot has reported a 62% rise in the number of its policyholders choosing to have a telematics device, consisting of accelerometers and a GPS tracker, fitted to their car. The company says that they could save up to 20% on their annual insurance premium, which for the youngest drivers almost always amounts to a discount of hundreds of pounds.

Old distractions as bad as new tech
Tue, 22 Jul 2014DRIVERS are as much distracted by "old technology" as by new gadgets, according to a survey. Adult passengers, twiddling with the radio and children in the car were the main distractions causing either a near-miss or an accident, the poll of more than 18,000 motorists found. These three distractions came ahead of operating the sat-nav and talking on a mobile phone as the biggest reasons for lack of driver attention.
