Nissan Design's Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura met talk-show host Jay Leno in the latest of the ‘Jay Leno's Garage' YouTube series, chatting candidly about the possibility of a new 240Z within the next two years. Next year will be the 80th anniversary of Nissan and the new model would be a celebration of the occasion, taking the spirit of the 240Z while refreshing the original design and shape into what Nakamura hopes will be an exciting new product. McLaren employees killed in crash

TWO MCLAREN EMPLOYEES were killed when the sports car they were travelling in crashed near to the Formula 1 giant's technology centre. The staff members, who were in a blue Subaru Impreza, were pronounced dead at the scene following a collision with a Ford Transit van on the A320 in Ottershaw, Surrey, at 12.10pm yesterday. A man in his 60s who was driving the van was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting with serious injuries, Surrey Police said.

Bristol Cars put into bankruptcy protection

U.K. carmaker Bristol Cars was placed into administration on Thursday, the British equivalent of bankruptcy. Officials now running the company said several people were laid off but that it was keeping the sales and service operations open.
