You're bidding on a mid 60's Chevrolet factory original accessory tachometer that was available to install on all Chevy vehicles with V8 engines. It's most commonly known as the Bowtie Tach,or "knee knocker" and is mostly seen on hi end Nova L79 cars. The tach is pictured in the 1966-67 accessory catalog and was available as an over the counter item thru the Chevrolet parts network..This tach is in super great original condition and is extremely difficult to find and would be a great item to "set off" your car. It has been in my tachometer collection for over 25 years and it's time to move on.. Telematics discounts tempting young drivers
Wed, 17 Sep 2014INCREASING numbers of young drivers are opting-in to telematics-based car insurance in attempt to reduce their premiums. Specialist young driver insurer Carrot has reported a 62% rise in the number of its policyholders choosing to have a telematics device, consisting of accelerometers and a GPS tracker, fitted to their car. The company says that they could save up to 20% on their annual insurance premium, which for the youngest drivers almost always amounts to a discount of hundreds of pounds.

Ford reckons that the movement in the Pound against the Euro in the last yaer or so has cost it nine figures on its UK income. Big money, no question.

It IS the Pagani Huayra We’ve had a little blat of activity over the last week or so on the replacement for the Pagani Zonda – the car we have known until recently only by its Pagani codename – the Pagani C9. Yesterday we ran a story that reported Pagani registering the name Pagani Huayra with EU trademark agencies, which we thought may point to the name for the C9.
