This is a promotional item from the mid 1990’s.  I received from a Chevrolet Friend. He did not wear a hat,  and at that time I didn’t so I just saved it and now years later, I still have it and have Never worn it.

As you can see in the photos, It has the red 3/4" x 2" Red Bow Tie embroidered on the front. It is a one size fits all type. The label has the Chevrolet Logo over "Made in Philippines" On the back side 100% Cotton. Each of the 4 vent holes in this cap are embroidered. Again, this cap was Never Worn, it still has the cardboard liner.

If you are a Chevrolet Memorabilia collector, you may wish to add this item to your collection.

Volvo consign normal car batteries to the history book

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

Volvo consign normal car batteries to the history book by using body panels for storage As our cars become more and more reliant on power from batteries – either to run the multitude of technology or top provide power for electric motors – the cost and size of the batteries needed continues to grow. But Volvo have been working an an alternative for the last 3.5 years which can potentially do away with the battery and instead store power in body panels. Volvo has built an experimental S80 which has body panels made of carbon fibre and polymer resins and structural super capacitors.

Armor-plated SUV among extravagant debuts at Top Marques Monaco show

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

While AutoWeek editors were pounding the pavement at the New York auto show last week, the world's silly rich were nodding polite approval at the Top Marques Monaco show. Included in the debuts were Gemballa, Fisker, Keating, Tirrito and Conquest, the latter of which showed off a ridiculously large, armor-plated SUV called the Knight XV that reportedly took organizers three hours just to maneuver it through the hall doors. Lest we forget that we're all human, Top Marques Monaco also had its “Black Friday at Wal-Mart” moments: According to organizers, Gemballa's world premiere of the Tornado was cut short after it was purchased “within 16 seconds of the show doors opening by a sheikh eager to have a piece of the action.” Full wrap-up release from Top Marques Monaco below.

Land Rover OKs LRX-based small SUV for Range Rover

Wed, 11 Mar 2009

Land Rover will put its striking LRX concept car, first displayed at the 2008 Detroit auto show, into production with the help of a $37.1 million grant from the British government. But in a move suggesting it will be pitched further upmarket than originally intended--against four-wheel-drive rivals such as the Audi Q5, the BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLK--the LRX will reach showrooms wearing Range Rover badges. "Internal studies have shown that if we deliver the LRX to market, it would be best suited to the Range Rover brand," Land Rover boss Phil Popham said.
