Chevrolet Pontiac Oldsmobile Buick Canadian Gm Fisher Body Parts Catalog 42-56 on 2040-parts.com
Orillia, Ontario, Canada
Here we have a Canadian Fisher Body Parts Catalog for the 42-1956 cars showing groups/sections 10-15. This is a reprint of a very rare, multi-model issue from GM, with a January 1956 printing and 842 pages. Chassis catalogs are more common and made for each car but this body catalog covers the 4 makes. The bodies were very similar in all the makes and many parts are the same/interchangeable. Having this catalog helps in searching parts because it broadens your search field to other makes that used the same part. Also, US model numbers are shown for cross-reference. Covers the Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick with the Coupe, Coach, Sedan, Sedan Delivery, Convertible, Station Wagon models. With this highly desirable early printing you will have all the original part numbers for an exact match, unlike newer printings that have many numbers omitted or changed. With it being the master body parts catalog it is has all the text, identification data and is illustrated. This one has the alphabetical and numerical index at the back, great for quickly checking part number application. The original of this catalog would have have been used at the GM dealer when your car was new but there are very few originals left so this is a reprint for you. Print is digitally enhanced from the original with top tier quality. You will be very pleased with this item. Shipping insurance is included with the shipping total, so please keep that in mind when leaving feedback.

Hiriko folding car: The solution to urban car sharing? [w/video]
Wed, 08 Aug 2012The Hiriko Driving Mobility Group has moved into the manufacturing trial of its two-seater electric microcar, which it hopes will offer a new car-sharing program that will transform the way we travel around our cities. The ‘first-mile' problem – moving between the commuter's home and mass transit hubs – and the ‘last-mile' problem – from mass transit to the workplace – has increased dramatically over the past few decades as more of us live in urban environments. 10 years ago researchers at the Michigan Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) decided to explore alternatives to shuttle buses and other ideas that failed to tackle the problem.
New Mazda6 teased in video
Tue, 10 Jul 2012The new Mazda 6 – previewed by the Takeri Concept and due to arrive at the Paris Motor Show in September - gets its first tease from Mazda. It’s probably fair to say that we have a pretty good idea what the 2013 Mazda6 is going to look like. Mazda has been trailing the new Mazda6 with the Mazda Takeri Concept – which had a recent outing at the Geneva Motor Show in March – but now we get the first tease of what is definitely the Mazda6 and not the Takeri in a video from Mazda.
