Up for bid is a used original Chevrolet Factory Service Manual for 1971 Chevrolet Vans and Sportvans – all Series 10-30 vehicles. This is the absolute ‘bible’ used by Chevrolet mechanics to repair virtually anything and everything on the 1971 Chevrolet Series 10 – 30 vans and sportvans. Its 230+ pages cover general information and lubrication, body, frame, front suspension, rear axle and rear suspension, brakes, engine, fuel system, clutch and controls, engine cooling, emission control systems, engine electrical, transmission, fuel tank and exhaust, steering mechanism, wheels and tires, chassis sheet metal, bumpers, electrical for body and chassis, heater and accessories and vehicle specifications. There are over 230 pages of illustrations and very detailed and specific information for checking, repairing and replacing Chevy car components. The manual is also filled with just about any statistic or specification needed for these vehicles. This manual is in great condition. There are no missing pages, but the manual’s cover and some of the pages are little faded and show some slight signs of use and wear but nothing that affects the working condition (see PIC). On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at a 9.5 for its overall condition.
