The size of plate is 12 inches long by 6 inches in width.  These are made using a special transfer process.  Image is printed into the surface of the aluminum.  Will not wash or peel off! They contain a UV coating for protection. The Subaru WRX concept starring here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is striking to say the least – it’s like someone has driven the Japanese firm’s BRZ sports car into the back of an old Impreza WRX STi performance saloon. In fact, that’s exactly what the WRX concept could become – the next Subaru Impreza WRX STi. Subaru killed off the rally-bred saloon in the UK this year, but we’re sure the Brits would welcome it back with open arms if it looked like this.

Chris Bangle – the undisputed front man of car design – needs little introduction, so the prospect of the former BMW Design Director and now founder of Chris Bangle Associates giving a talk in our home town of London was too good to pass up. His presentation (which you can watch in full in the video to the left) touched on his time at BMW, but was more focused on the idea of empowering others to create: "design without you in the middle", as Bangle says. From the story of the co-creation of the staircase in his Italian studio to the idea of encouraging people to think about their culture when designing, his philosophies transcend disciplines.

BMW has revealed a new electric scooter concept, the Concept e, at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show as part of BMW Motorrad's focus on issues of individual single-track mobility. The Concept e, which was presented alongside BMW's electric i3 and i8 vehicles, is designed to convey the importance that BMW sees in the emotional dialogue between the rider and the vehicle. The Concept e is immediately recognizable as a BMW motorcycle, with the ‘split face' running from the upper trim section to above the front wheel cover.
