The process of revealing revised models to the public boosted the glamour and mystique of the entire industry. Dealership windows were papered over; display models were smuggled in under wraps; anticipation grew to a fever pitch.

There was everything from the mid-engined Lotus Esprit to the Rapide-challenging four-door supercar that was the Lotus Eterne. In amongst the supercar-fest – that included the aforementioned Lotus Eterne and new Lotus Esprit – was the Lotus Elite, a new Lotus Elan and a new new Lotus Elise, a total of five new Lotus cars designed to turn Lotus in to an East Anglian Aston Martin.

2015 Kia Sorento revealed ahead of Paris Motor Show debut

Kia Kia has released pictures of its third-generation Sorento SUV ahead of its European unveiling at the Paris Motor Show 2014. The 2015 Kia Sorento is a seven-seat bigger brother to the Sportage, which itself received a mid-life update earlier this year. In typical Kia fashion, the front of the 2015 Sorento is dominated by its “tiger nose” grille, as well as long swept-back headlights – similar to those on the Cee'd hatchback.
