1955 Chevy 235 engine. Has been disassembled for inspection. Was running, but smoked. I found some damaged rings that had been installed wrong. Looks to have been rebuilt before. It came in a 1950 Chevy custom I bought two years ago. I ended up using a different 235 I had for it. This engine will have to have to be rebuilt before use, obviously. Last photo shows what one looks like done, with dual carbs. I prefer local pickup because this puppy is heavy! However, for extra $$$ I could palletize and ship it via freight line. I am in Dallas, Ga. 30132  I have a video of this engine running, but can't figure out how to put it in the listing description, and Ebay won't let me put a static one in.

Chris Harris finds the McLaren P1 “a whole new thing” (video)

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Chris Harris and McLaren’s Chris Goodwin in the McLaren P1 We know the McLaren P1 is exceptional, and we’ve heard almost the same ‘game changer’ dialogue from anyone who’s driven it. We’ve also seen the McLarenj P1 on the move in the recent Top Gear with Jeremy scaring himself witless in Belgium as his brain came to terms with the awesome 903bhp at the P1′s disposal on a less than forgiving Spa circuit in damp conditions. But what we have here – in case you’ve not seen it elsewhere – is a video review of the McLaren P1 from Drive’s Chris Harris, and it does the best job we’ve seen of explaining just why the P1 is so special and why it’s “…a whole new thing”.
