This is a rebuilt 283 with a fresh bore at .030 and new 030 cast flat top pistons with new hasting moly rings .rods are rebuilt using ARP rod bolts .crank is a Gm stock steel crank and is fresh turned .010 mains .rods are at .010 rear seal is a felpro viton. nose of crank is drilled for. 7/16 bolt .at time of rebuild block was hot tanked . all parts checked for cracks. this is a very nice short block with no sleeves or crack s fixed .was pro built and machined build sheet from McCarthy performance .free pickup will get ready to ship you must work out shipping to find your best deal if needed

Koenigsegg One:1 officially revealed – it’s not a Supercar, it’s a MEGACAR
Fri, 28 Feb 2014The Koenigsegg One: 1 (pictured) officially revealed ahead of Geneva Cars UK exclusively revealed the first details of the Koenigsegg One:1 back in November 2012, and now it’s heading for its public reveal at the Geneva Motor Show next week. So extreme is the One:1 that Christian von Koenigsegg has dubbed it ‘The world’s first MegaCar’, and looking at the specification he may have a point (it hasĀ 1 Megawatt of power). The Koenigsegg One: 1 produces a massive 1340 hp and over 1000lb/ft of torque an weighs 1340kg – the world’s first 1:1 power to curb weight ratio supercar – enough to deliver 2G cornering capability together with 610KG of downforce at 160mph thanks to active under and over body aerodynamics.

Unfortunately, Lamborghini’s silly tease for the Gallardo’s replacement is an irritating and frustrating bit of nonsense. It started well enough with an oddly named website – The Hexagon Project – showing a simple starter button which, when pressed, played the sound of the new Lambo’s V10 roaringĀ - a good start.
Aston Martin US dealers could lose DB9 & Vantage – which could see many shutting up shop
Sun, 17 Aug 2014The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster (pictured) might not make the US The rules and regulations car makers have to conform to are both enormous and onerous, and different markets have different regulations. And it looks like new side impact regulation could scupper AML’s sales in the US. New side impact rules – due to come in to force in the US in September – means that two of Aston Martin’s big sellers – the DB9 and Vantage V8 and V12 – would have to be withdrawn from sale in the US as they won’t comply.
