Hello, this auction is for a pair of completely assembled aluminum small block chevy cylinder heads. These heads will fit all 262-400cid engines from 1955 through 1999 and are nearly identical to ProComp Motorsports heads part number P3002S. The heads have provision for either center bolt or outside bolt hole valve covers. They will also accept either Vortec or the early style intake manifold. If you are thinking about building any type of high preformance small block Chevy these heads are the only way to go. They will save you about 30lbs on weight over stock iron heads and will give you 30-50 more horsepower then OEM GM production heads.These heads are cast in Australia and assembled by us. These heads work great on Carburetor and fuel injection engines and no special gaskets needed.The specs on the heads are as follows:
Intake/Exhaust port volume: 190cc/72cc
Combustion Chamber volume: 64cc
Valve size: 2.02x1.60
Valve Springs: Single with dampner 105lbs closed pressure. Springs will accomadate .550 lift.
Flow figures: 227 cfm @ .500 Intake 179cfm @ .500 on the exhaust. Full flow figures available at the bottom of the auction.

University students learn product development at Eco Car Challenge

The event, at the Environmental Protection Agency's laboratory in Ann Arbor, Mich., allowed journalists to get behind the wheel of these test cars.
