FERREA 6000 SERIES STAINLESS VALVES

Ferrea's 6000 Series Competition Valves are designed to provide excellent reliability in an environment of high spring pressures and roller cams, at a budget price. The 6000 Series has higher fatigue resistance and tensile strengths than the competitor’s best offerings. These valves can be used in Drag and Oval Track racing applications.

To manufacture the valves, Ferrea uses their exclusive two-step slow forging process using EV8 stainless steel on both intake and exhaust valves. Ferrea provides a special heat-treatment and stress relieving process, along with hard chrome stems and friction-welded hard tips. Ferrea finishes with a swirl polished head. The valves feature flow improvements to deliver the power needed for today’s sophisticated racing engines.

Most of our performance valve sizes are not stock-OE sizes and are usually larger than stock-OE sized valves. Please be sure to check the valve sizes listed below for proper fitment to your application.

FALCON NOTE: Ferrea's 6000 Series valves are rated with much more ability to take abuse than many of the CHINESE-made valves available on eBay. Don't trust American muscle to Asian import valves! Pay a little more to get a name-brand valve, but more importantly, a TOP QUALITY valve.

This listing is for a set of eight (8) NEW IN BOX Ferrea 6000 Series intake valves for Chevrolet small block V-8 engines. P/N F6263 X 8. Valve sizes are listed below:

  • HEAD DIA: 2.08"
  • STEM DIA: 11/32"
  • OVERALL LENGTH: 5.300"
  • TIP LENGTH: .250"
  • REFERENCES: 12o Super Flo +.400"

We also have exhaust valves and Ferrea's Competition Plus valves listed on eBay!

Nissan Juke gets economy tweaks

Thu, 22 Sep 2011

The Nissan Juke gets economy tweaks It’s a bit of  a Marmite car, the Nissan Juke. Some who see it for the first time are appalled at what an ungainly looking car the Juke is. Others find its cute ugliness a real breath of fresh air.

Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement adds gloss to the Yeti

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Skoda has revealed a range-topping Yeti SUV – the Yeti Laurin & Klement – with extra equipment over the Yeti Elegance. It might sounds like a firm of solicitors, but Laurin & Klement (Václav Laurin and Václav Klement) are the founders of what is now SKODA and Skoda use their names to badge their range-topping cars, hence the Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement. The Yeti Laurin & Klement starts off as a Yeti Elegance before Skoda bolt on £4,000 worth of extra goodies, and you can have it only as a 4WD with the 1.8-litre TSI 160PS, 2.0-litre TDI CR 140PS DSG or 2.0-litre TDI CR 170PS engines.

July 8: Drained it!

Thu, 08 Jul 2010

Don't get cocky, kid! I drained the battery more than it's ever been drained today. All the bars were gone and the little gas tank icon was flashing at me, with miles to go before I got to VSP Parking at Burbank Airport to plug in.
