This fan clutch is in need of repair because it turns over with little resistance and has a fluid leak out the front , so it will require rebuilding/reconditioning .
There are no chipped fins , or corrosion issues .
The hub diameter is 2-1/4 inches .
The hub hole for the water pump shaft is 5/8" diameter .
The water pump flange mounting holes are 1-3/4" apart , center to center .
The mounting studs for fan blade attachment are 3" across center to center .
The stamping on the mounting flange reads 060171SC for June 1st , 1971 .
Due to the offset between the clutch body and the mounting flange , this is clearly for a Big Block .
Exact application is unknown .

Tue, 19 Feb 2013Bentley's new Continental Flying Spur has been revealed ahead of tomorrow's official debut through a series of leaked pictures. The images, which surfaced earlier today, show the latest incarnation of the Flying Spur is sharper with a more upright grille and taut elegance than the outgoing model. The DRG's character has been subtly altered by placing the larger pair of lamps to the outside rather than sitting closest to the grille, visually widening the car.
Consumer Reports slams new Honda Civic
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Honda Motor Co., still struggling with supply shortages of the redesigned 2012 Civic after the March earthquake in Japan, took a slap in the face today when Consumer Reports rated the new Civic "too low to be recommended." The 2012 Honda Civic dropped 17 points, from a very-good score of 78 to a mediocre 61, in the latest Consumer Reports road test of small cars. Previous Honda Civic models have often been Consumer Reports' highest rated small sedans, as well as Top Picks in five of the past 10 years. But the redesigned model was slammed for the cheapness of its interior, poor ride quality, long stopping distances and loud interior noise.

This year's theme was 'New brands and the search for a design identity', and among the audience were young Chinese designers keen to learn more about international car design techniques, as well as veteran western designers hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the market they are creating vehicles for. Session 1: The Market for Design Edward Wong, Director of Transportation Design at China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), set the mood for the conference in his long, flowing 'Chang San' robe (very traditional Chinese attire). He opened the conference and invited panellists to share their views on what China's needs are and explore what makes the market so unique.
