THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 68 & 69 COPO 427 CHEVY ALUM INT MAN. IT IS PART # 3933163 AND IS AN ORIGINAL CHEVY PART. THIS WAS ALSO USED ON 68 AND 69 NOVAS WITH THE 375 HORSEPOWER 396. IT HAS HAD A THREAD CERT(SEE PHOTO) INSTALLED IN ONE OF THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING BOLT HOLES AND WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL MACHINIST. ALSO A HELICOIL WAS INSTALLED IN THE DIST. HOLD DOWN HOLE AND LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN DONE CORRECTLY. IT HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF CORROSION BUT NOTHING THAT WILL CAUSE A BREAK THROUGH. 2009 EyesOn Design Awards
Thu, 22 Jan 2009The winners at the fourth annual EyesOn Design Awards held at the 2009 NAIAS in Detroit last week read like a serving of alphabet soup, with the top awards going to Audi, BMW and Cadillac. Presided over by 20 top design executives from automotive manufacturers and by academics from transportation design programs, the EyesOn Design awards are presented by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO) - an internationally recognized non-profit organization known for helping the blind and visually impaired. However, according to a survey conducted by the AA a there still appears to be plenty of work to be done. As many as 93% of motorists admit it is sometimes hard to see cyclists while driving, according to a poll of nearly 18,000 drivers.
