Dart “Little M” small block Chevy
stroker, 3.750 stroke on a .060 overbore, yielding 390 CID. All forged
internals, Eagle 4340 forged crankshaft, Eagle H-beam connecting rods, Mahle
forged aluminum pistons. 4-bolt main caps, front to rear. All ARP hardware. Five hours run time, but spun 2 main
bearings due to ignition detonation. Engine turns over by hand just fine. Block
is fine, needs to be line honed, and crank will need to be polished. I have
video of the engine running before the Road Atlanta run. |

Sat, 09 Feb 2013The Nissan 370Z Nismo – a titivated and fettled 370Z – has finally arrived for the UK and Europe and will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Nissan has fettled the 370Z Nismo for European roads and tastes and, although there’s a bit more power, the focus is on driver fun. That means the 370Z Nismo comes only with a six-speed manual gearbox and only as a coupe to keep things nice and stiff and keep the driver involved.
BMW EfficientDynamics hybrid supercar: production confirmed
Fri, 05 Nov 2010BMW today gave the green light for production of the dramatic Vision EfficientDynamics hybrid supercar shown at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Munich admitted today that the tech underpinning the concept car was 'completely or virtually production-ready' and said that the car will be launched very much as shown in Frankfurt. It has started roadgoing tests of the 2+2 EfficientDynamics sports car and its three-cylinder turbodiesel hybrid system.
