Delco GM am/fm radio for late 70s/ 80s car/van/truck. Radio is stereo, 2 channels set up for four speakers with fader. Radio knobs measure 6" apart; body is 7 1/4" wide by 6 3/4" deep (8" with face) by 3 1/4" tall. This is a very generic GM size that was universally correct for a number of GM vehicles (please do your own homework regarding fit). Radio has been cleaned, oiled, and bench tested. Picks up both AM and FM stations loud and clear. Preset buttons and tuning dial all work. Radio comes with wiring harnesses and radio knobs shown.

This radio has also been outfitted with a 1/8" (3.5mm) aux input for MP3s/Ipods. I modify these radios locally with very good results. 14 day guarantee, if buyer is not happy with the item return it within the 14 day time period "undamaged" and "untampered" with. International shipping costs will vary depending on location. I prefer Paypal, will send radio as soon as payment is received. Thanks for looking.

Automakers should disable technologies that distract drivers, U.S. says

Fri, 17 Feb 2012

The U.S. Department of Transportation on Thursday released its long-awaited guidelines on distracted driving, calling on automakers to disable applications that allow drivers to manually access social media, surf the Web or send text messages while on the road. The recommendations also seek to prevent any in-car technologies that require drivers to use both hands or take their eyes off the road for more than two seconds.

SEAT SUV confirmed for 2016

Wed, 26 Mar 2014

SEAT Compact SUV gets a green light for 2016 (SEAT IBX Concept pictured) SEAT has been threatening to build a compact SUV for years, and back in 2011 it revealed the IBX Concept (pictured above) which was the SEAT take on the Audi Q3. Now, finally, it seems VW has signed-off on SEAT’s compact SUV and the new compact SUV will hit the market in 2016, hopefully giving SEAT’s poor sales a real boost. Expected to be based on the VW MQB platform, the SEAT SUV should enable SEAT to properly compete in Europe and tap in to a market that has grown by 40 per cent in the last few years whilst SEAT’s existing market for its cars has shrunk and been compromised by a weak economy in Europe where the vast majority of SEAT’s sales are made.

College Exhibition: Institut Superieur de Design 2009

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

Valenciennes in northern France might not be the most glamorous of French towns but it's been quietly turning out transportation design graduates for over 20 years. The Institute Superieur de Design (ISD) isn't as well-known as Strate or Creapole in Paris, nevertheless it has a growing reputation as one of the most focused design schools in Europe with an enviable record of internships and employment of its graduates. Last month CDN was invited to join the final assessments of this year's graduate cohort.
