Mitsubishi confirms mad FQ-400
Tue, 02 Dec 2008You’ve got to admire the Japanese. Here we are, deep in the doom and gloom of car sales in free-fall, and Mitsubishi pops its head above the parapet to announce the 2009 version of the mad-as-a-hatter Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400! Anyone who saw, or drove, the Evo 9 FQ-400 will know what an absolutely mental car this is.
BMW 7-series facelift (2012) first pictures
Mon, 28 May 2012BMW has given the 7-series the mildest of mid-life facelifts for 2012 – with a series of cosmetic tidy-ups, fettled engines, extra kit and the UK's first hybrid 7-series. The ActiveHybrid7 isn't the most expensive 7-series (that's the 760Li at £101,805), but at £66,040 the petrol-electric saloon is some £8k pricier than the biggest-selling 730d. As the diesel is also cleaner and more economical, we suspect the hybrid Seven will remain a niche seller over here.
KTM X-Bow – the heavyweight dealer arrives
Thu, 11 Jun 2009Dick Lovett has been appointed as a dealer for the KTM X-Bow And the profile of the X-Bow keeps growing with the effusive comments from those who’ve driven it and the decent marketing the car is enjoying through sensible stuff like the KTM X-Bow Drive Orange days at Brands Hatch and Silverstone. But that 1,000 car a year production may have to be revised again after it has been announced that Dick Lovett – a high-end supercar dealer – has just been appointed KTM X-Bow dealer for South Wales and South West England. We who read (and write) about cars every day tend to assume that anyone looking for a supercar or high-end sports car is completely au fait with what the market has to offer.
