Chevy V8 DSM "Ready-to-Run" Electronic Distributor COME WITH BOSCH COIL

This auction is for a new DSM Electronics Chevy V8 "Ready to Run" electronic distributor. For small block and big block engines. Some of the features with this distributor are:

  • Oversized steel shaft for high strength
  • Top mounted sealed ball bearing
  • Extra long sintered bushing at base of shaft
  • Magnetic pickup (never requires adjustment)
  • Small base and cap for space savings
  • Vacuum advance for improved street fuel economy
  • Precision machined reluctor
  • Self contained high performance module
  • Our Distributors are supplied with the connecting terminals ( no exposed wires like the others )

This is perfect for upgrading from the out-dated points style distributors or when space requirements are very limit compared to the bulky HEI units. With this distributor all you need is an external coil, the 2 wires will hook-up to the coil and you're "ready to run". Nothing else required! (We recommend the bosch coil MEC 718 for maximum performance).

There's a high performance module contained in the distributor itself, that produces increased performance, easily outperforming stock and many other aftermarket ignitions. A vacuum advance is included for improved fuel economy when used on street applications.

We do have bronze gears, replacement modules and distributor caps if needed .

Unless you need to keep the original points distributor for a true resto, toss that old out-dated set-up out and up-grade too something your motor will be much happier with!

Also please choose your preference on the type of Distributor Cap and Colour  type, at no extra charge !!!

Vauxhall Corsa - first photos of the 2011 facelift

Wed, 24 Nov 2010

Vauxhall has today issued the first pictures of the new, facelifted-for-2011 Corsa supermini. There's a dash of Insignia flair at the front, but very little else changes on the revised Vauxhall Corsa. The new nose of the 2011 Corsa finally ditches the old-fashioned Vauxhall V-grille, replaced by the newer chrome bar with a prominent Griffin badge like on the new Insignia and Astra.

Electric SEAT Altea & plug-in SEAT Leon hybrid revealed

Sun, 13 Nov 2011

The SEAT Altea EV & plug-in SEAT Leon hybrid - testing for the next 4 years Seat may have revealed a pair of cars with ‘eco’ powerplants -  the Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive and the Altea XL Electric Ecomotive – but they’re not coming to a showroom near you. Well, not before 2015, anyway. The plan is to build a small prototype fleet of the Leon Hybrid and Altea EV and make them available to local government in Catalonia and Madrid, to get evaluation and real-world feedback before the cars go in to production, which won’t be for at least four years.

CAR Most Wanted of 2014: Mini Cooper S

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

By the CAR editorial team First Official Pictures 20 January 2014 14:00 The styling of the new Mini Cooper generated huge debate when we revealed the new hatch on CAR Online late last year. Some of you hated the bulbous, high-shouldered look, while others criticised the stylists for not moving the game on far enough next to rivals like the Citroen DS3 and Audi A1. The dust is still settling on that front, but there can be no argument over just how important the new Cooper is not just for Mini, but BMW’s future too.
