Found in group 17.1750B and 4.421, this shaft is for the reverse idler gear, measures approx. 8-5/8" in length, is 1-1/8" in diameter at the end then tapers out to 1-1/4", has (2) 2-1/16" long flattened portions where it locks onto gear, and has a 5/16" diameter hole at the end.
Has been discontinued since July 1983, but is still in it's original box from GM which makes it excellent for anyone restoring his/her older vehicle.
