for sale is a lot of Monte Carlo emblems. included are (7) sail panel emblems, (1) header panel emblem & (1) hood ornament. all are used & show wear. all are from the 1970's.

the hood ornament is solid, but the plastic over the center emblem is cloudy(looks like it was sandblasted). spring is solid, but rusty. chrome does have some pitting. # is 371187. comes with nut.

the header panel emblemis 4"L.it has 3 studs on back.# is PT8798374.no pitting. black trim needs redone.

Sail panel emblems- # is 9657609. all are solid. some show more wear than others. only one has 2 studs on back. one has only one (other snapped off) & the other 5 are stick on. all have "Landau" on front. all need cleaned & polished.

these are used, original & 30+ yrs old, so please don't expect perfect. happy bidding!

 

Autodesk Automotive Days - Munich 2009

Autodesk's Automotive Days design conferences, launched in Munich in 2008, have highlighted the key growth area of digital prototyping. And at last month's conference the focus was once again broadened to include coverage of conceptual design and creative visualization (at the very beginning of the design process) and design for manufacture - at the culmination of the process. Speakers from Autodesk outlined the innovative features of their latest product suites, while keynote presentations from leading automotive designers such as Frank Stephenson of McLaren and Volvo's Rickard Franklin showed in fascinating detail how the benefits of these software systems were being maximized in busy corporate design studios.

Top Gear China Well, we’re assuming Top Gear China has launched. Or at least they’ve had a crack with a pilot episode, fifteen minutes of which you can see in the video below. We’re struggling to work out the banter, but we think we’ve got figured a chunk of the content.

The new Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 (pictured) gets Vantage S power It’s tough having motor shows to attend and nothing new to offer, so car makers tend to deliver a ‘Special Edition’ of an existing model to make it look like they’ve made and effort. Step forward the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 and the Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black & Carbon White Editions. There’s little new on offer, really, with a rehashing of what Aston Martin has produced before as ‘Limited Edition’ cars, with the V8 Vantage N430 continuing the theme of Vantage  ’N’ Editions and the Carbon’ limited edition’ DB9s done before.
