Chevy Motor Mount Kit – Rubber Insulated

Motor mounts, small block Chev. Stock, non-interlocking GM insulators (side mounts) are used with this kit to absorb motor vibrations. This motor mount is designed to use “short & wide type” GM insulators. These insulators have an inside width, between the ears, of 2-5/8″. There is also a “tall & narrow type” insulator that is 2-3/8″ between the ears. This insulator will not fit this mount. (Insulators not included in this kit.)

The rubber insulator rests on the pad surface. Formed ears eliminate the common tube and long bolt support. A laser cut slit in the main plate allows the mount to be positioned at the height you require. The oversized gusset gets trimmed to provide support. Clear instructions show how to use this kit to put a Chev motor in frames from T-buckets to Ford F100′s (or any other frame 22″ – 31″ between the boxing plates).

Ferrari 149M Project for Geneva Motor Show – looks like a California update

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

Ferrari Project 149M will be revealed on 12th February 2014 It’s was 2012 when Ferrari updated their entry-level car – the Ferrari California – with less weight, more power and a handling package, and it looks like they’re about to do the same again. Ferrari are trailing a reveal of ‘Project 149M’ for the 12th February – and a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show next month – which, although slightly cryptic sounding, does point firmly to a Ferrari California ‘Modificato’. The California has the internal product code ‘F149′ and Ferrari has a history of producing ‘Modificato’ or ‘M’ versions of their road cars to move the game on – think Ferrari 575M.

Jaguar C-X75 Concept Photo Gallery

Wed, 29 Sep 2010

Jaguar C-X75 Tonight in Paris Jaguar has revealed the C-X75 Concept, a car so glorious and innovative it could very well have stolen the Paris Motor Show even before it officially starts. Not designed to be a production car – but if they don’t do something close to it they should be shot – the Jaguar C-X75 offers what could be considered the ultimate range-extender hybrid. With a pair of mini gas turbines charging a bank of plug-in Li-Ion batteries which in turn power a quartet of electric motors, the C-X75 produces a massive 780bhp, offers a 0-60mph of just over 3 seconds and a top speed of over 200mph.
