You are bidding on a new short shaft water pump conversion kit for the 1955-1962 Chevrolet 235 motors.

This pump allows you to install a later 1955-1962 high oil pressure 235 motor in your earlier '37-'54 Chevy car or truck without moving the radiator forward. Will also fit the 1955-1962 Chevy 261 motors.

Will not fit the 216 motors or pre '55 motors.

Makes for a nice clean installation . No need to mess with hacking up old pumps & trying to find the correct pulley to line everything up.

A must have part if you are replacing your early 216 motor with a later 235 motor. Kit is complete with the pump, gasket and the correct shallow 3/8" pulley. You get everything pictured.  Please make sure this pump is correct for your application before purchasing.

We also offer this kit with a chrome pulley so,  please check out our other items as we have chrome pulleys available on a separate listing.

Mazda to use regen brakes to boost fuel economy 5 to 10 percent

Mon, 09 Jul 2012

Mazda is adding a fuel-saving technology that harnesses wasted brake energy in the redesigned Mazda6 sedan due early next year. The approach uses regenerative braking to convert kinetic energy into electricity that is stored in a capacitor. The car later taps that capacitor to power the fuel pump, lights, audio, air conditioning and transmission and engine control systems.

Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid Supercar back in the spotlight

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

Jaguar release new photos of the C-X75 Supercar A few days ago we heard that the hybrid underpinnings of the canned Jaguar C-X75 were going to find their way in to the F-Type to produce a 700bhp monster. We had our doubts about that, but it does seem clear that Jaguar are not going to let the C-X75 just disappear in to oblivion. For reasons probably known only to Jaguar, they’ve suddenly decided to release a new set of photos (above) of the very good looking C-X75 in a fetching shade of blue – a better look than the pale metallic paint job on all the photos we’ve seen so far – despite the project being shelved.
