UK still a nation of middle-lane hoggers

One in six British drivers admits hogging the middle lane and drivers over the age of 65 are the most likely to do this. Five of the top 10 worst stretches of road for middle lane hoggers were on the M25 that orbits London, making it the worst road in the UK for this driving behaviour.

The poll, conducted by Smart Witness, also revealed that 60% of drivers thought lives could be saved by remaining on GMT throughout the year. The main opposition to the clocks going back is that it means children are forced to return home from school in darker afternoons.

There's an M Aerodynamic bodykit with bigger front and rear bumpers, questionable chrome highlights, and some rather tasty 19-inch twin-spoke alloys. On the inside brushed aluminium trim, an anthracite headlining, sport seats, an M Sport steering wheel and M Sport sill inlays complete the package. Afraid not - the 740d is equipped with a 306bhp/443lb ft 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine.
