Best petrol price falls since 2008

MOTORISTS are enjoying the biggest fall in petrol prices since the credit crunch days of 2008. But the AA has warned that a further dip in prices is unlikely. Average petrol prices in the UK fell 5.49p a litre between mid September and mid-October - the biggest monthly fall since the 11.5p petrol price collapse in November 2008, the AA said.

Infiniti's 2013 luxury EV: the teaser sketch

Infiniti has released a teaser sketch of its upcoming electric vehicle. Revealed at the opening of Infiniti’s second UK dealership, at Piccadilly in London, the single image previews a ‘luxury’ EV that Infiniti promises will be launched in 2013. Six years after he got the idea and bought the streamliner, Jesse James has set the world record for hydrogen-powered speed. Late afternoon on June 16, James flew across the windswept dust of El Mirage dry lake bed in the California desert and tripped the lights at 199.712 mph. That was 14 mph faster than the previous record of 185 mph, set in Germany by BMW in its hydrogen-powered H2H.
