And now comes the news that CPP are to design and build an all new Jensen Interceptor. Yes, we’ve had other stories in the last few years about ‘New’ Jensen Interceptors, but they’ve all been about updating original donor cars to make them fit for the 21st century.
2012 Interior Motives School League Report
Thu, 27 Sep 2012In addition to showcasing the talent of student designers, the 2012 Interior Motives Design Awards acknowledged for the first time the achievements of the schools that nurtured them with its inaugural ‘Most Successful School' award. After a close-run battle with Italy's Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) that was eventually decided by just a single point, the award went to London's Royal College of Art. This one-off award for the RCA is backed up by CDN's league table of school success over the past five years, which has now been updated to include the results from the 2012 Interior Motives Design Awards.
Saab 9-3 ePower electric car at 2010 Paris show
Fri, 24 Sep 2010Saab will showcase its electric car ambitions at the 2010 Paris motor show with the new 9-3 ePower. Look out for this badge on future Saabs – it’s the next step from the existing E85 biofueled BioPower models. The 9-3 ePower is a technical testbed vehicle rather than anything you can go and buy, but the Swedes aim to have an electric car to market in the next few years.
