Eastlake, Ohio, United States
This
listing is for 1967-1972 Chevy Truck DIGITAL GAUGES with WHITE LEDS
(FACTORY BEZEL IS NOT INCLUDED--THAT PHOTO IS FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES). Also,
the pictures do not do justice to the actual white, which is beautiful,
just so bright that the camera has trouble capturing it accurately.
This Digital Dash comes complete with direct fit printed circuit board, custom fit "smoked" Plexiglas face plate, universal temperature sending unit, oil pressure sending unit, and speedometer sending unit (sender/sensor) for trucks without electronic transmission or cruise control, and instructions for installation. The Digital Dash works with your factory fuel level sending unit and cruise control sender or electronic transmission output if so equipped. Everything directly fits into your existing housing, but you may need to run some new wires to the speed sensor. The Speedometer reads up to 255 MPH (KPH is also available--please just send a note to seller when you order for that option) and features odometer, trip meter, one-button calibration (regardless of tire size, gear ratio, or transmission) and 0-60 time, 1⁄4 mile ET, and high speed recall, all with the push of a button. The speedometer can be used with electronic cruise control senders or use included S9013 (universal speedometer sending unit) if your vehicle is not equipped with a functional cruise control. Other gauges include the Tachometer (0-9,900 RPM in 100 RPM increments), the Water Temperature display with 100-300°F range (Celsius is available upon request--please just send a note to seller when you order) (Sender S8013 included; Please send a note to seller if you need a 3/8" bushing because we send the more common 1/2" bushing--otherwise, you will have to supply the bushing on your own), the Oil Pressure display with 0-100 PSI range (Oil pressure sender included), Voltmeter display with 7.0-25.5 volt range (no sending unit required), and Fuel Level display with 0-99% range in 1% increments (works with existing GM fuel level sending unit). The panel also features turn signals and high beam indicator. Digital clock also included. Intellitronix panels were featured on Stacey David's Gearz TV show! They come with a Lifetime Guarantee and are made in the USA! If you're not 100% completely satisfied, then just arrange to send it back within the return period:) If you have an LS engine, then please be aware that you will need adapters (metric to nonmetric) for our sending units. We do not include or even sell those adapters, so you may have to obtain them elsewhere separately, though they may have been included with your engine kit, so you may already have them. Rockin' Supercar: The Rebirth, Short Life, and Death of a Shark-Fin-Equipped '85 Toyota Tercel Wagon
Fri, 18 Apr 2014Sometimes a very ordinary car becomes something special, maybe even loved, but that's not always enough to keep it out of the jaws of the crusher. This is the story of a second-gen Toyota Tercel wagon (known in Japan as the Sprinter Carib) and its journey from auction to lumber-hauler to kid transportation to a Chinese steel factory. Around the turn of the century, while I was working at a doomed dot-com in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, I discovered that the city auctioned off all the unclaimed tow-away cars every week at nearby Pier 70.
BMW M6 Competition revealed
Fri, 04 Sep 2009The Limited Edition BMW M6 Competition will be at Frankfurt (click image for bigger photo) It doesn’t look like the M6 Competition gets much fiddling with the oily bits, although the suspension is being tweaked and lowered – 10mm at the front and 12mm at the back. The M6 Competition sees a new colour option – Frozen Grey Matt – which does look pretty special on the M6. The interior gets a ‘limited edition’ makeover, with buyers getting the choice between Merino full leather interior with either black or light grey two-tone contrast stitching. BMW are also throwing in a set of mats with ‘M6 Competition’ stitched in them in case you forget what you bought.
