We believe this is a Chevy Vega or Monza OEM 4 speed shifter. If you know the exact year it is for please let us know! It works properly and even has the orgianl leather shifter boot. The chrome is in ok shape for its age but not perfect do to some discoloration. Someone even cut out the piece of floor around it so you can weld it in or can easily just un bolt! It was entered in the Tour, a 60-mile pre-Pebble cruise around Monterey, down to Big Sur and back, which gives cars entered in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance a chance to show that they are more than just pretty things. Mann's Duesey had all the looks of a winner, with its long front hood, flowing fenders and two seats way in the back.
Ebay-GM partnership generates interest but limited sales
Thu, 20 Aug 2009General Motors Co.'s effort to sell new cars on eBay in California is generating interest but recording few sales on the Internet auction site. In the first nine days of the program, GM dealers listed 16,228 vehicles on eBay and completed 45 sales, according to data available on the Web site. But GM said the eBay exposure is prompting customers to visit dealerships to complete sales that aren't recorded on eBay.
