Up for bid is a used Chilton Repair Manual for a 1973–1988 Datsun Nissan 1200 – 210 and Sentra – all US and Canadian models. This 200+ page manual has general info and maintenance, engine performance and tune-up, engine overhaul, emissions controls, chassis, body, drive train, fuel, electrical, brake, suspension systems, vacuum and wiring diagrams and much more with lots of illustrations and step-by-step instructions. This manual is in good useable condition, but does show some minor signs of use and wear (see PIC). On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual 9.4 for its overall condition. Infiniti planning new global flagship model
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Infiniti is planning a flagship, sporty four-door coupe in the mold of the Porsche Panamera as the joint flagship of its expanding range. The sweeping-looking four-door will take its styling inspiration from the Infiniti Essence concept penned by design chief Shiro Nakamura and first shown at the Geneva motor show in 2009. The new car is part of Infiniti's ambitious plan to become a serious global luxury brand by carving out 10 percent of that market, equivalent to about 500K sales by 2020 and backed up by a significantly expanded model range and huge investment from parent Nissan.
European car sales down 9.6% Jan 2013. VW Golf sales down 17.8%
Mon, 18 Feb 2013Car sales in Europe continue to decline with sales down 9.6% in January 2013 and the top-selling VW Golf down by 17.8%. In fact, the UK was the only top five market to increase sales, with Germany down 8.6 per cent, France down 15.1 per cent, Italy down 17.6 per cent and Spain 9.2 per cent. Other notable drops included the Netherlands which saw a huge drop of 30.4 per cent, partly driven by tighter emission boundaries on company car taxation.
Vehicles recalled amid airbags fear
Mon, 23 Jun 2014JAPANESE car giants Honda, Mazda and Nissan are recalling millions of vehicles worldwide amid fears that a defect in airbags manufactured by supplier Takata Corp could cause them to explode. No accidents have been reported. Honda recalled 2.03 million vehicles over the airbag problem, including 1.02 million vehicles in North America and nearly 669,000 in Japan.
