Up for bid is a used Chilton Repair Manual for a 1983–1993 Hyundai Coupes and Sedans - all US and Canadian models of Hyundai Elantra, Excel, Scoupe and Sonata. The manual is in great useable condition, but shows signs of use and wear (see PIC). The manual has over 300+ pages of general info and maintenance, engine performance and tune-up, engine overhaul, emissions controls, chassis, body, drive train, fuel, electrical, brake, suspension systems, vacuum and wiring diagrams and much more with lots of illustrations and step-by-step instructions. It also has vacuum and wiring diagrams included. This manual is in great useable condition, although it does show signs of use and the cover is a little rough looking (see PIC). On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at a 9.4 for its overall condition. It's a one-off, attention-grabbing supermini with a mid-engined layout like the Renault Clio V6. The racing Aygo uses a 200bhp turbocharged version of Toyota's 1.8 VVT-i engine from the Celica and MR2 – making it somewhat more powerful than the regular Aygo's 68bhp. A 200bhp Aygo?

Sat, 08 Jan 2011Hyundai proved to be one of the biggest automotive surprises here at CES. While Audi and Ford have grabbed the headlines, it's clear that Hyundai isn't far behind, and on this evidence, may even be ahead in some areas of in-car electronics, before too long. The company unveiled its new ‘Bluelink' infotainment and telematics system as part of Tuesday's Consumer Telematics Show and this was being demonstrated on the company's show stand at CES too.

Tue, 07 Feb 2012Nine of the 12 Formula 1 teams have released images and details of their cars for the 2012 World Championship as the first day of pre-season testing draws to a close at the Jerez circuit in Spain. Motor sport may fall slightly outside of Car Design News' usual remit, but the big story this year is the new 'stepped nose', which all teams bar McLaren have introduced to comply with new safety regulations, much to the chagrin of aestheticists. And with designers such as Daniel Simon (he produced the livery for HRT last season) and Peter Stevens (most notable for the Brabham cars of the 1980s) involved with the sport over the years, it's always interesting to check out the season's new machines.
