Up for bid is a used Chilton Repair Manual for a 1986–1993 Hyundai Excel, Elantra, Scoupe and Sonata – all US and Canadian models. This 520+ page manual has general info and maintenance, engine performance and tune-up, engine overhaul, emissions controls, chassis, body, drive train, fuel, electrical, brake, suspension systems, vacuum and wiring diagrams and much more with lots of illustrations and step-by-step instructions. This manual is in great useable condition, but does show some definite signs of use and wear (see PIC). On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual 8.5 for its overall condition. The RC version is intended to be a blank canvas for customers to modify and customize according to their preferences. So wing mirrors, door handles and front and rear bumpers are unpainted, and front foglamps, tailgate lamp, intake manifold cover, stereo and speakers are all removed.
