Tesla rolls out Model S hatchback, plans late 2011 start

Amidst thumping techno and inside his own rocket factory, Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk pulled the cover off his much-anticipated second car onThursday. The Model S five-door hatchback will go into production in late 2011 at a rate of 20,000 per year. Prices will start at $49,900 for the base model, a price that assumes the $7,500 current Federal tax credit available.

2012 Bentley Continental GTC - revealed ahead of Frankfurt Bentley are busy updating their cars, a process which started with the new Bentley Mulsanne and carried on with the 2012 Continental GT this time last year. And now, just too late for summer, we get the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC – the one with the soft top. As you would hope, in an age when lightness and frugality are key, Bentley has managed to cut the weight of the new Continental GT – but only by 70kg over the current model.

Rolls-Royce Wraith revealed: Geneva Motor Show 2013

The Rolls Royce Wraith has been revealed as a 624bhp V12 Fastback with 590lb/ft of torque and a 0-60mph of 4.4 seconds. Rolls Royce claim the Wraith as the most dynamic car they’ve ever produced and, even though it is still the size of a football pitch, it actually sits on a shortened Ghost wheelbase with a wider track to make it a bit more nimble. Rolls Royce has also stiffened the Ghost’s suspension for the Wraith (although not too much) for a bit less roll and added a bit more weight to the steering.
