An early and original CHRIS CRAFT Boat PENNANT.  Manufacturer on the white band is difficult to distinguish, but it is USA made.  There is NO GLOW on the pennant when checked with a black light therefore, natural materials and colors typical of those used before the early 1960's.  Pennant has been used and would benefit from a wash or dry cleaning.  The two brass grommets have surface residue and need to be cleaned otherwise intact.  The pennant has an overall length of 19 inches and is nearly 9 inches wide on the white mounting band. The English and German companies produced the unloved SLR together, but the new MP4-12C and SLS are fresh supercar starts for the pair. And although the McLaren is technically impressive, it isn’t a supercar stunner – the SLS emphatically is, with a long, low nose, stubby tail and incredible gullwing doors.

GM contacting Chevrolet Volt owners as NHTSA investigates battery fire

General Motors on Monday said it is contacting all owners of the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid to reassure them that the car is safe as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigates a battery fire from a Volt that was crash-tested. GM said any Volt owner who had safety concerns would be offered a different GM car as a loaner vehicle. Executives also stressed during a teleconference that the battery issues were seen only in vehicles in the crash tests.

After 20 years of ownership, Ford divested itself of the brand, its facilities and its products, in a deal valuing Aston at £479m.   The new owner is a consortium led by David Richards, boss of automotive consultancy Prodrive, who helped to unite two private investment companies from Kuwait. Adeem Investment, which already owns the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, has a portfolio worth $1.5 bn.
