This is the portside engine/transmission assembly salvaged from a 1964 Chris Craft 38' aft cabin. The original block was 327cu. in. but in the late 70's the long block was changed and the engine is 350 cu. in. The model number on the manifold plate is - 327FL25-L, the serial number is 7000003. The Parrigon transmission model number is HF7B25-L.
This is a complete assembly with the Sendure heat exchangers intact as this is a freshwater cooled engine

Mercedes AMG driving academy is coming to the United States

Mercedes-Benz is offering a chance for speed enthusiasts to learn to drive like the pros. The AMG Driving Academy will be held at three sites in September. The academy, founded in Germany in 2007, gives drivers a chance to get behind the wheels of several AMG models, including the E63 AMG, the SL63 AMG, the C63 AMG, the SLK55 AMG and the CLK63 AMG Black Series.

Mercedes SLC confirmed once more Mercedes big-wigs have been discussing future plans for AMG and have confirmed production of the Mercedes SLC – a baby SLS. It’s always nice to speculate on new cars to come from interesting car makers, and in the case of Mercedes we’ve been actively playing the baby SLS game – a Mercedes SLC – since 2009. What we need to remember is that the SLS – and any SLC to come – is not really a Mercedes, it’s an AMG.
