So Mercedes has decided to drop the current A 180 CDI SE and the B 180 CDI SE and replace them with new versions offering better economy credentials- theĀ A 180 CDI ECO SE & B 180 CDI ECO SE. Available from January 2014, both the new eco A and B Class have been subjected to weight saving measures and tweaks to the aerodynamics and powertrain to yield emissions of 92g/km for the A Class and 98g/km for the B Class.

Under the overall direction of Chris Bangle, Director of BMW Group Design, brand specific design studios have been set up for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, as well as for the areas BMW Motorrad and BMW M. These new brand studios will accompany the entire development process for new models from the first sketches to the start of production.

Fri, 19 Mar 2010Chrysler Group says it has solved the problem that caused a shortage of hard tops for Jeep Wranglers. Michael Manley, CEO of the Jeep brand, said there will be two production increases of the hard tops--one in early April and the second in late April. “We’ve been working to increase hard-top capacity,” Manley said at a Jeep event Thursday.
