Here for sale is a set of Harley Davidson rider and passenger pegs in chrome with black and a matching brake pedal is included with the set and an extra inner peg bracket. The set also includes a shifter peg in chrome with the harley bar and shield. This set is used and has signs of wear and scratching. Some of the pegs have scraping on the outside  corners from sharp turns as pictured. I am not sure as to what models these fit however by the brake cover I would lead more toward either a softail model or a touring like a road king between the years 1996- 2010 (this is a guess I am not sure of the part # or what they fit exactly. the pegs seem like they will work with most models though however I am not sure. the pegs for a set of two retail for $150 plus tax $300 in total for a set of 4 plus tax and the shifter peg would be over 20 plus tax as well as an additional $50 plus tax.

One Lap of the Web: Car creatures of the Hollywood Hills

-- Jay Leno, presumably back from filming McQueen's Jaguar XKSS, now places his chin atop the front seat of a 1925 Doble E-20, which, being steam-powered, fulfills Leno's interpretation of alt-fuel. Abner Doble built his first steam car while he was still in high school, and by 1915 the Doble Detroit had set new standards of reliability, convenience, noiselessness, and speed -- in 1925, Howard Hughes drove Leno's Model E to 132 mph. -- Los Angeles, car culture capital of the world, has its fair share of hipsters, eccentrics, airheads and Chrysler LeBarons.

Watch the 2,000-horsepower Banks Freightliner jump five cars

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

Mike Ryan does amazing things with the Banks Freightliner. And with Pikes Peak still half a year away, Ryan settles for practice in the Long Beach docks in "Size Matters 2." He weaves the semi in and out of boxes, does donuts in the same tight radius as a matte-black 240SX (driven by stuntman Daniel Leavitt, who ironically shares his name with a reckless driving attorney in Virgina), and dodges even larger trucks. (No Dodges, though there's the Freightliner connection.) All the elements of Ken Block's Gymkhana videos are here: the screeching electronic music, the moody industrial setting, the gratuitous slow-motion.

Alcraft Motor Company, a new British bespoke design and engineering business, has launched its first design study in a line of concepts that will “reinterpret vehicles using British design values.” With the help of students from the Royal College of Art, Alcraft will initially focus on marques with British heritage, including Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover. On Bing: see pictures of Range Rovers Find out how much a used Range Rover costs on Auto Trader It’s this last brand Alcraft is turning its attention to first, reimagining the 2013 model year Range Rover with even more of a British spin.
